Fall/Halloween

For Fall/Halloween time, Rowen had lots of cousins in town and lots of activities to do. He had a blast!!!! We went to the pumpkin patch with Scotts parents and his sister, Dana and her two kids. They were able to pick out a pumpkin and decorate it, go on a hayride, and see lots of farm animals. Rowen loved it!

Tonto Natural Bridge

Ok alot has happened since my last blog update, which was so long ago, I know. But I'll start with our little trip to Tonto Natural Bridge. We actually had planned to go up to Pine/Strawberry for their annual Fall Apple Festival. I thought it would be so fun. It was the end of September and with it starting to get near Halloween time and it was still really hot in AZ I thought why not? I was totally wrong. It was still very hot there (I thought we might get a little reprieve from the heat in the valley) and there was not an apple in sight! I thought it was the Apple Festival! I was very disappointed. So we decided to head to the Tonto Natural Bridge. Scott and I had been there once before while we were dating and we had a blast so we thought we might try it again. We definately had fun! My parents and little brothers were there also so it was a little difficult try to hike all the little ones in but once we were there it was so much fun! And alot cooler too! Here are some of our pictures from our trip:

Rowen likes to play with my necklaces and I found him asleep in his carseat like with my necklace wrapped around his ear. He was so tired!

I found him in his crib like the the other day. So cute!

My sister got a puppy so I took Rowen
over to play with it. He hated it.

We took Rowen to play in the kids play area at Chandler mall. He loves that place! He also likes to flirt with all the baby girls there too!

I know it has been FOREVER since I have posted anything. I just feel like I never have to get everything done that I need done during the day and so blogging always comes last. But I need to try and be better. Anyway, my little man is 9 months old! He is so big. At his nine month checkup he weighed 25 lbs and was 31 inches long. 95th% in both! Big boy! I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is learning to take steps and I think he will be walking pretty soon on his own! The other day I caught him in the bathroom unraveling the toilet paper and eating it! Then soon after I caught him with his and in the toilet! So now the bathroom doors have to stay shut. I can't wait until the weather starts to cool down because this kid is an outdoorsmen. He loves going outside and exploring and playing. It's so cute. I hate to take him outside very often though because it's way too hot (for him AND me) and he gets all sweaty. He is just so much fun to have around our house. He makes Scott and I laugh everyday!

San Diego and Disneyland

Scott, Rowen and I went with my family to California this year. We had alot of fun! We went to Sea Port Village, Disneyland, the beach, shopping and just relaxed. It was nice to get away and have a nice break after Scott got done with school.

Rowen fell asleep on the beach! We played in the water a little bit but he didn't like how cold it was. He is used to the warm pool.

Rowens 6 month check up

Our little munchkin is getting so big! He is now 7 months old but I wanted to post about his 6 month check up. At his check up he weighed 20.11 lbs (91st percentile) and 28.5 inches (98th percentile). Big Boy! His pediatrition told us that from how he acts and the fact that he is so doing so much at 6 months he would think that he was a 9 month old. He is growing up so fast. At 6 months he was already crawling! He knows how to manipulate people very well. He'll cry until someone will pick him up or pay attention to him and the second he gets it he is all smiles and super giggly. I love that little monkey. He is such a joy to have around.
