I LOVE FALL!

This time of year is one of my favorites! It's the start of all the fun holiday's. I love the cozy feeling of fall! Scott and I love to start watching halloween movies and drinking hot chocolate during the evenings (a nice cheap date!). We just finished watching, It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It was a nice way to start off our holidays!

Paris, Rotterdam and Amsterdam!

Ok so we have been home from our trip now for 2 weeks. The day after we got home I got a nice cold and besides going to work I haven't wanted to do anything, including posting stuff on my blog. But I am starting to feel better now so I can finally get back to normal.

Well the first 5 days of our trip were in Paris! Paris was my favorite part. It was beautiful. I can't believe how much history can be in one place. We got to see alot of things in the 5 days there, but there was so much more I wanted to be abe to see. While we were there, we got to see the Eiffel tower, Notre Dame, The Louvre, The Moulin Rouge, a bunch of gorgeous cathedrals, eat at lots of Parisien cafe's and we got try to lots and lots of yummy pastries (100 times better than anything I have ever tasted in my life!) The only bad thing about Paris is that the people there feel the need to pee wherever they want to. If you ever go there and see a puddle on the ground, do not step in it! It's not water!

After Paris, we took a 3 hour train ride up through Belgium (I wish we were able to stop there, it was so beautiful!) and up into Holland. Our first stop in Holland was Rotterdam. I wasn't too impressed with this city, although it was really nice for Scott to be able to stop and see all the cool, modern architecture. It really just reminded me of New York or Los Angelas. We did, however, get to go on a really fun boat tour of the harbor.

Next stop in Holland was Amsterdam. Amsterdam was pretty awesome. I have to admit, I was a little nervous about all the things you hear about Amsterdam (the prostitutes and all the marijuana shops). Well they are there, but no one makes a big deal out of it, so it's not too scary. The first day we were walking along the canal and I looked up at one of the windows and YES! There was a girl in some nice little lingerie, luring men into her room. That was the first of many times we saw these girls. We had to walk through the red light district several times to get to our hotel. Red Light District is exactly how it sounds. Lots of big open windows with red lights over them. Luckily, the girls are covered with their little nighties, so we didn't see anything too crazy (thank goodness). One day we rented bikes and rode around the harbors. It was so pretty! My favorite part of Amsterdam was going to the Anne Frank House and getting to see where she and her family hid for 2 years from the German Nazi's.

Our trip was awesome! I really enjoyed every second of it! Although, I don't know how much I would want to do trip like that again while I am pregnant. I think next time I will wait to have no babies in my belly!
