Messy Baby

We just barely started feeding Rowen rice cereal about a week ago. He loves it! This is what we get when we let daddy feed him. Somehow he managed to get cereal in both eyebrows!

Easter

This year for easter, all of Scotts family was in town. We went to his parents house and had brunch and they did a little easter egg hunt for all the grandkids. Then we went to my parents for dinner. It was so nice to be able to spend easter with both sides of the family.

Rowen and his cousin Prestyn. They liked the paper sacks better than the easter eggs. It was so hilarious, they were both attacking those bags.

Rowen's 4 month check up.

Oh cute monkey!

So this post is a little late since Rowen is now 5 months old. But I did want to update on Rowens 4 month appointment. At his check up, he weighed 17.8 pounds and was 26.5 inches tall. He was in the 90% for weight and 95% for height. It makes me laugh because he is only in the 30% for his head, which is weird because his head looks ginormous to me but I think it's because of his chunky little cheeks and double chin. I can't believe how fast he is growing. It's so bitter sweet. I love how he is growing and changing and doing new things but I am so sad that he is not staying little. At four months he decided that everything has to go in his mouth and is exploring everything with his tongue. About a week and a half ago he started to roll from his back to his tummy and now he just likes to roll all over the place. He also found his voice and loves to squeal. Scott and Rowen love to talk to each other that way. They often have contests to see who can makes the most noise.

Scott decided to try the skate board thing again. And look his shirt says "skate" how appropriate.

Scotts Birthday and Zoo

I felt bad this year for Scott on his birthday. He had to spend it at school in a review all day where he said he got ripped apart on his project for not being far enough along on it. I decided we were going to have some family fun the next day so I took the day off to celebrate. I wanted to take him to go see Alice in Wonderland and eat at his favorite restaurant. We woke up that morning and Scott said he wanted to go to the zoo and bring a picnic. So we did. The weather ws quite nice. Rowen loved the zoo and just stared at EVERYTHING. He was such a good boy that day. After the zoo we did end up going to see the movie and out to eat anyway. It was a fun day!

This was at the end of the day. Rowen was worn out from all the action going on.

Me and Rowen with the giraffes

We found this in the gift shop. It's a wierd little visor hat with a lizard on it. Rowen was not amused.

Cute boy. He just has to have his tongue out all the time. It's actually alot longer than it looks in this picture. It goes down past his chin. We lke to call him baby Gene (Gene Simmons from KISS).
