We had our little trip to San Fransisco and it was sooooo much fun!! Scott didn't find out where we were going until we got to our gate. I wouldn't even let him look at his boarding pass when he went through security. He was good and didn't look until I told him he could. He was super excited. We both fell in love with San Fransisco and want to move there one day.
The first day, when we got there, we checked into our hotel (which was beautiful - we stayed at the Fairmont on Nob Hill) and then we went to get lunch in Union Square. Then we made our way down to Ghirardelli Square where we had lots of chocolate! Yum! After that, we went back to our hotel and got cleaned up and walked over to China Town to eat dinner and look around. China town was very interesting but fun.
On day 2, we got up and ate breakfast at this little cafe in Union Square called Cafe Bellini. The orange juice there was so yummy! After that we decided to go to Fishermans Wharf, which was my favorite part of the whole trip! We walked up and down the wharf, ate soup in a bread bowl, went to Pier 39, saw lots of sea lions, took pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge, and shopped. It was so relaxing, we also went back to Ghirardelli Square and got more chocolate and ice cream. Later that day we decided to go to the Golden Gate Park. It was such a hassel trying to get there. We waited for almost an hour for a bus that was supposed to take us to the park but the bus never came so we decided to hop on the muni and ride over there. We wanted to be able to walk through the Haight-Ashbury district (hippie district) so we got off a couple of blocks before the park. Let me tell ya, that place was not what I expected. It was fun but lots and lots of really wierd people decide to flock to this area. There were several homeless people whom all seemed to have some sort of imaginary friend they liked to talked to. This is where Scott got pick-pocketed. Luckily the only thing that got stolen was his bus pass! Phew! I also saw my first drug deal! 2 within less than a half an hour. Those people are not shy and they don't care to hide what they are doing. It was soooo obvious! So anyways, we walked through Golden Gate park and to the Japanese Tea Gardens. It was so beautiful!!! I wanted to stay longer but it was starting to get dark and I was worried about all the wierdo's around, plus we had to get Scott another bus pass so we left soon after getting to the gardens. When we got back to our hotel we decided to eat dinner at the Fairmont. There is a place there called the Tonga Room. I loved it! While we were eating, it started raining, lightening and thundering inside the restaurant. Also there was an amazing band playing the food was delicious!!!!
The 3rd day, we got up and ate breakfast at Sears Fine Foods, which is known for their Swedish Pancakes. They were amazing! Then, yes, back to Ghirardelli Square for more chocolate! We also decided to walk down Fisherman's Wharf again and ate lunch at a yummy Italian Sea Food restaurant. Scott was so happy for this trip because I don't ever cook sea food (I despise it) and he could eat as much of it as he wanted. Anyways, that was all we could do on the 3rd day because we had to be at the airport to catch our flight back. Unfortunately the pilot got sick and our flight was delayed 4 hours. Oh well it was fun anyway!
Although we had lots of fun on this trip we both are going to be paying for it for a while lol. We both probably gained about 10 pounds from eating so much food! I guess we will be working our butts off at the gym for the next couple weeks.
Here are a few pictures of our trip. I will have to post more later. Scott got some really good ones of the city on his camera.

San Fransisco
Tomorrow Scott and I will be going to San Fransisco! I am so excited! We both have never been there before so I thought it might be a fun surprise for Scott's 30th birthday celebration. SSSHHHHH!!!!!!! He has no idea where we are going so those of you who read this before tomorrow please don't say anything to him hahaha. He has been dying to know where we are going and even bribed his family with money the other day if they would tell him where he was going. It was not enough $ for Holly to tell him though hehe. Anyways I think we will have lots of fun and can't wait to hear what Scott thinks about where we are going!!!
