So, I have been feeling like I need a change with the whole job thing. Life Spa has not been a very exciting place to work at lately. Today I had an interview at a salon called Mureeza and got the job immediately. The salon is gorgoeus and it's everything that I have been looking for in a place to work at. The owner is super nice and I didn't have to bargain for anything I wanted (days off, commission, dress code, etc...). It is also in a high traffic area (Desert Ridge Marketplace) so they get lots of walk-ins. I had been looking to move to a salon a little closer to home, but we can't afford for me to loose all my clientele and start from scratch again. This place is just down the road from my current salon, so my clients will be able to follow me when I leave. I haven't decided yet if I should stay at Life Spa a couple days a week so I dont loose any my clients or if I should just make the move and go to Mureeza completely. Anyways, I am really excited and can't wait to start. Wish me luck!

That's awesome! So exciting. It's nerve racking starting in a new place, but I'm sure a good chunk of your clients will follow you, at least they should. I hope it goes great! Sounds like a sweet salon!!

ReplyDeleteCongrats, that is so awesome. I have been in three different salons and your clients will follow you, you would be surprised at how many will, you might loose a couple but they will follow. I had a girl at work work at two different salons for awhile and she hated bring stuff back and forth and doing two salons.
